Q: What's included in your magic show?
A: Your child gets 45 minutes of high-energy interactive magic followed by 15 minutes of custom balloon animal sculptures. Throughout the show, kids help from their seats, and 10-15 kids are brought up to help with magic tricks on "stage" — including your birthday child multiple times! The highlight is an illusion where the child of honor is suspended in mid-air (age/personality appropriate). The balloon segment is interactive — kids guess what animal I'm making.Q: What age groups do you perform for?
A: I perform for children ages 4-9 as the primary audience for kids' birthday parties and events throughout New Jersey. If the majority of kids fall in that range, younger children (3-year-olds) and older kids/adults will enjoy the show too. The show isn't designed for audiences of mostly toddlers (1-3 year olds) or exclusively adults, but mixed ages work great.Q: How much space do you need for the show?
A: Not much! Most magic shows happen in homes — a living room, den, or family room works perfectly for a New Jersey birthday party. We usually just move a coffee table and seat kids on the floor. Basements are great too. For restaurants or event venues, about 6' x 8' is ideal (a dance floor is best). I bring mats so kids are comfortable.Q: Can I hire you for an outdoor party or event?
A: Yes! Outdoor birthday parties work great in New Jersey. Just keep a few things in mind: kids and I need to be in a shaded area, and avoid distractions like lawn mowers. I can't perform in rain (even with a tent) because humidity affects my equipment. Otherwise, outdoor celebrations are perfect.Q: How do you handle shy kids or kids who don't want to participate?
A: Great question. My show is designed so ALL kids participate from their seats — no one feels left out or uncomfortable. When I bring kids up for stage magic, I read the room and personalities carefully. Shy children can step back, and I never force anyone. Kids feel safe, which is why participation flows naturally and everyone has fun.Q: What's your reliability? Will you show up on my party date?
A: In 25 years, I've never missed a show — I performed during blizzards, nor'easters, and major storms throughout New Jersey. I'm completely committed to being there for your celebration. For cancellations or rescheduling, just call me — we'll work it out. I don't charge extra for last-minute bookings either.Q: Do you perform school events or just birthday parties?
A: I do both! Birthday parties, school assemblies, fundraisers, communions, bar/bat mitzvahs, and other celebrations throughout the New Jersey area.
